Here she is

We got updated pictures and lots of information today.
*She is currently 52.7 lbs and 52.8 inches tall.
*She is very healthy, is on NO medication and hasn't needed any medical treatments in 2 years.
*She loves gym class but doesn't like art class.
*She loves to run.
*She is fairly introverted and doesn't talk much.
*She doesn't know any English.
*She has been taken out of foster care about a month ago and brought to the orphanage. She has a social worker talking to her about the adoption. She says she does not want to be adopted and is having a very hard time accepting it. Whenever adoption is brought up, she cries. She is very sad. She was very close to her foster family and does not want to leave them. She has been with them for 4 years.

This last part breaks my heart. I know that the more attached she is to her 'family' there, the better she will bond with us. But it doesn't change the fact that I'm right now causing a lot of pain and grief in her little heart. I just have to keep trying to convince myself that we are doing what is best for her and everything will turn out good in the end.
